Vietnam
Vietnam Overview
In recent years, the economic and trade cooperation between China and Vietnam has developed rapidly. In 2018, the bilateral trade volume between China and Vietnam exceeded USD 130 billion with an increase of 28% year-on-year and created a new record. At present, China is Vietnam’s largest trading partner and the largest export market for Vietnam’s agricultural products. With China’s imports from Vietnam increasing, the bilateral trade has become more balanced. Now, more and more Chinese companies and investors are beginning to pay attention to the future development prospects of China-Vietnam economic and trade cooperation. They have registered companies or opened offices in Vietnam, gradually focusing on new market opportunities and profit growth points in Vietnam, the emerging economic entity of Southeast Asia.
